More voxel side-project progress! Got lighting and shadowing working, and I really like how its looking! I've got to get the custom shadow casters for the animated voxel meshes working, and there's some oddness with the camera angle and the terrain voxels… but I like it! pic.twitter.com/6P8kdH4AVy

Did some improvements to the WebGL water caustics. Now I compute the derivatives in texture space(with a precomputed texture), instead of ddx/ddy. It produces waaay smoother results, on top of that I also use a 512^2 caustic mesh, which looks really pretty. pic.twitter.com/NzYM5lsBtW

Scrolling a noise texture is great for wind effects, but you cannot rotate the wind direction as that will just move the texture in a giant circle creating artifacts. I had the idea to interpolate between different directions of noise instead to work around this. #GodotEngine pic.twitter.com/DGqa9aAw0M
